Wholesaler Apparel: It’s Potential In The Online Market

The extensive potential of the online market has post advantages for businesses who are seeking for an effective medium in increasing the traffic of customers going to their respective functions for a better profit.

Based on the survey conducted by the New York-based media research firm; Nielsen Media Research 875 million consumers have shopped online; unbelievable but the figure speaks for itself. Nielsen Media Research unveil the most popular and the purchased items over the internet, books with 41 percentage purchased in the past three months, followed by clothing/accessories/shoes with 36 percentage, videos/DVD, and games with 24 percentage, and electronic equipment with 23 percentage.

Seeing that retailer and wholesaler apparel such as shirts, pants, and accessories has a big potential in the online market, some clothing and apparel firms has take an advantage to penetrate and focused not only in the traditional market but extend and increase their presence online.

In the United States alone, internet users in the past month bought clothing, shoes, and accessories, this products has also showed an outstanding growth having the biggest from 2o percentage to an outstanding 36 percentage. A data from the survey says that shoppers tend to stick to the shopping sites they are familiar with, with 60 percentages saying that they buy mostly from the same site. This information is important for online business starters, this will give them an idea of how tough the online competition is, and what are the ways that they can do to be able to catch the attention of the online potential buyers. Nielsen quoted that this information “shows the importance of capturing the tens of millions of new online shoppers as they make their first purchases on the internet.
